Bridge Academy is officially here - providing vocational training courses, Supported Internships and Inclusive Apprenticeships for young adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults. Our programmes equip participants with the hands-on training, nurturing support, knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their chosen careers.
We run a series of training programmes throughout the academic year, with our first course, How to Thrive in Your Career, which launched in October 2024. This six-week programme focuses on building and understanding workplace relationships, managing stress, and setting and achieving personal goals.
By addressing gaps in the traditional education system, Bridge Academy ensures that people can access learning tailored to their needs - providing them with the tools to build a happy, successful, and fulfilling life.
If you're interested in enrolling with Bridge Academy, contact Stacy on 01388 449410, or email hello@bridgecreative.org.

Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training is named in memory of Oliver McGowan, whose inadequate care and neglect led to his tragic death in an NHS hospital in 2016. In response, his mother launched a national campaign in 2018 to improve training for healthcare professionals and prevent similar failures in the future.
Under the Health and Care Act 2022, it is now a legal requirement for all staff working in NHS and social care services to receive training in autism and learning disabilities.
Our Expert Training Team has developed a dynamic, in-person training programme designed to help businesses of all sizes create truly inclusive workplaces for adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults.
